No this is not a hate thread or anything of the sort. It is just a conversation between fellow mmo players. Now I want to get something things off my mind.
This is what I can understand.
1. Yes I can understand why you pk everyone including your own nation when boss hunting. Truth be told we all want drops for either our selves or our guild.
2. I do understand why you pk other guilds that go CA in channel 9. The more monsters for you the more you and your members level.
3. I get your want to be the best and rule over the game as the strongest. Really who doesn't want to be known as the strongest?
Now these are a few things I don't get.
1. Ok I get that you're probably the oldest running guild in venus and that your players are knowledgeable, but so are a lot of other people that are not in your guild and calling people nub just because we do not spend all our time grinding and basically living in this game is just pointless and in my opinion reveals your maturity level. Just because we are not 170 and spend most of our time leveling or grinding does not make us incompetent.
2. I do not get why you let your new recruits act so childish. Is it really beneficial to your guild if your new members just give you a bad name? I know if anyone if my guild acts like some snot nosed 2 year old in my guild they get booted. There are always going to be people who do not have a pleasant experience with your guild and will not like you, but why would you let new member's bad mouth random people for no reason other than to just make selves feel superior. There is nothing to be gained from such matters. Now I am not saying all your recruits act this way but you know you have a few. I get that they are happy to be in a strong guild, but to allow them to get big ego's when they are not a crucial member of your guild is well pointless and only makes more people hate you.
3. I do not get this want to have total control over the 150+ Nation War. You do not like people telling you what to do so what would make you think we would? Majority of us in Nation War are trying to win. Yes we do have some people that want to go all Rambo and try to solo the whole thing. There is nothing you and I can do about these people. But what I am saying is both sides have low level people. Both sides have people who are not that strong. Instead of putting them down calling them nubs and useless do you not encourage them to relog after they get there 30 so that someone stronger can get in. Also you expect everyone that is not in your guild to relog. There are other people out there who are just as strong as some of your members that belong in nw from beginning to end. We have more than enough 150-159 people that we can let everyone get a chance to get there Wexp. If caps can use there resources effectively then why cant we do the same as procs? Instead of calling people nubs why not try to asking them to relog so that our stronger people can get in to stay in nw and give us a bigger chance at wining. No matter who you are you cannot take on the whole capella nation by yourselves. You are strong but there is a limit to strength when the other side has numbers. You want us to listen to you but really would you listen to someone that treated you like that?
You wonder why people don't like you, but in reality you do not do anything to prevent it. You call us nubs, put us down for not spending so much time leveling and grinding, and overall let your new recruits give you nothing but a bad rep. I will not comment on anything else that has been alleged by people because I have not seen any undeniable proof of such things.
If you want people to listen to you in nation war to increase our chances of wining why not do your part and educate people. Instead of just stomping on them and calling them nubs. Give them the information that they need to be a productive player in nation war.
Just put yourself in our shoes for once and think about it. Would you like someone telling you you're useless and diminishing any accomplishments that you made in the game? I highly doubt you do. So what would make you think we would be ok with it? That while your doing such things that we would listen to you at all?
People should be respecting your guild because you guys work hard to attain what you have (Yes I know some people will have a fit about this remark, but hey prove it or shut up.), but in reality nobody cares of what you accomplish because you treat the people that praise you like dirt.
Guess what I am trying to do is ask why are you content with everyone hating you so much? Wouldn't it be better if people respected you? I cannot force you to change or anything, but I would like to understand why are you content with the way people percieve you?
Now as I said this in the begining this is not another bash tang thread. I myself know 2 people in tang. Dont think they would consider me a friend anymore but they did at one point. But hey people move on and go there separate ways so I have no malice for them its just life. I would just like to hear some honest comments from some of the members. This is not to try and make tang look better or worse. Just some questions of my own that I was curious about that is all. Nothing more nothing less.
So if at all possible. Please keep the comments to mature level or not to post at all.
